Another great performance by the Edison Jazz program. The Jazz Band 1 took 2nd place in their division at the Rolling Meadows Jazz Festival held on Saturday, February 24th. This event is knows as "Jazz In The Meadows". Brandon Goslin received a scholarship for outstanding soloist for the MS room at Rolling Meadows as well. The band's performance was outstanding, especially when you consider they had to be up and ready to leave by 5:00a.m. and didn't perform until late in the afternoon. That didn't seem to effect the kids as they did an outstanding job in competing against all the large Middle Schools of the Chicago area and beyond.
