This year we have organized many fundraisers to help fund the band, and the student’s accounts for the upcoming trip to Chicago in March. Following is a list of events. We are always open to suggestions – so please see contact any of us if you’d like to offer your ideas!

This year we will again be operating 'Dippin Dots' stands at home games from September through November. Both parents and children can volunteer for these fundraisers. We try to have two sets of parent/child teams at each of two stands. This year we also ran concession carts with 2 people per cart. It's fun and not hard work for parents or kids.

This is one of our biggest overall money-makers for the year and we are fortunate to have this opportunity. We will try to work a concession stand at about 30 Assembly Hall events this year. Each event requires seven (7) adults, one of which is pre-trained and serves as the manager for the concession stand.

For this easy fundraiser, all you have to do is fill out the form below to register, and drop it off at any IGA grocery store. This designates your support of Edison Band, so that whenever you use your IGA card they donate a percentage of sales to us.

This is another very simple fundraiser that many of you are already aware of. Just cut out Box Tops for Education found on many grocery products and send them to school with your student. We have a collection box in the band room that says 'Box Tops'. This is a great trash to treasure fundraiser that generates income with little effort.

We have several other fundraisers planned, which include the following:
Reader's Digest – magazine, gift wrap, candy and gifts sales
Papa John's – phone orders of pizza
Fannie May Candy – candy sales for the holidays
Village Inn Pizza Night – percent of sales goes to band
Pre-Concert Dinner – pasta dinner before concert
Raffles – items at concerts to be raffled off
Beef House Rolls (spring)
Flowers and bulbs (spring)
Day in the Park Concessions (May).

For some people, their preferred method of supporting the band is a monetary contribution. This is a wonderful way to easily and directly support the band – simply write out a check to Edison Band Patrons. You can contact any of the above Fundraising Committee members, who will gladly receive your donation, or send your check attention Mike Lehman at Edison.
